LYRICA (pregabalin) is an FDA approved drug to treat fibromyalgia, diabetic nerve pain, spinal cord injury nerve pain and pain after shingles. LYRICA is also indicated to treat partial onset seizures in adults with epilepsy who take 1 or more drugs for seizures. It is used "Off Label" (ie, it is not FDA approved) to treat neuropathic pain in patient with dry eye or other chronic pain conditions.
Recently I saw a second patient who reported chronic tinnitus (ie, ringing in the ears). The main page of Lyrica does not mention this as a risk.
